About

In 2008 I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (Hons) from Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping of Saint-Petersburg, graduating with distinction.

After graduating I chose to work at Sigma-Soft as a Software Engineer. This company produces software for customs needs where I was responsible for developing a private ERP system and internal tool for format conversion.

My further professional development continues at Yandex where I joined Yandex.Money (now known as YooMoney, the PayPal of Russia), initially as a Java backend developer working on payment gateways. When mobile systems grew in popularity, I took the lead in building an internal mobile development department, transitioning outsourced software development to in-house development. In my last year at Yandex.Money, I was also responsible for Yandex.Money's public APIs as a Product Manager.

In 2015 I started working for Mail.Ru Group (now known as VK) as an Android Team Lead where I was responsible for developing a TamTam instant messaging service that was designed to act as the Russian version of WhatsApp. The app was effectively built from the ground up and launched by my team. Now it's one of the leading messengers in the Russian market.

Over the years I have been invited to various top conferences and events in the IT sector as a recognized expert and keynote speaker. I also have a wealth of experience in lecturing and teaching courses in information technology. I have always embraced the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with younger and less experienced tech specialists.

In 2020 I founded EventSheep, an online event management platform. The most advanced technologies were used to deliver the product fast and securely. Shortly after the launch we started gaining traction and our customers have already successfully used the EventSheep service for planning and managing their events both in Russia and overseas.

I am currently working as a Principal Software Engineer for a Silicon Valley tech startup company Product Science Inc., founded by David and Daniil Liberman (ex Snap). Product Science Inc. is a rapidly growing technology driven business where our brilliant engineering crew has been working tirelessly to create technology that increases product metrics for mobile applications and helps apps work faster by providing unique insights into key performance issues. The solution we are building has a noticeably positive impact on user experience as improved performance leads to greater engagement metrics. I am directly involved in all aspects of product development and quality control.

I temporarily pressed pause on EventSheep after joining Product Science, but I might be looking to introduce the platform to the UK customer pool. It is challenging for any startup to develop a competitive edge and to bring a new product to the market. However, a clear vision of the product’s potential to shake up the tech world has already enabled the cofounders to raise a $18 million Series A round at a $200m valuation led by Coatue and Slow Ventures and other Silicon Valley's leading investors.

I strongly believe that by delivering unique technologies and solutions Product Science Inc will change the mobile performance landscape.

I am confident that my result-driven attitude and a solid background in software engineering will be highly valued and will make the world a better place.
